Running back and seat as one mesh surface leaves no joint or edge step at waist height — the sitter feels no hard line between back and seat. That same continuity spreads the water permeability across the whole body: no water stands on the seat after rain and the chair dries without needing a cloth. A cushion is added when wanted.
