About Us
Miles Sandalye aims to deliver products and service at world quality standards while keeping customer satisfaction at the highest level. Beyond being a company that values reliability and cares about society and the environment, our core principle is to create a difference for our customers and to meet their expectations with product and service quality.
We manage every stage of metal and aluminium chair production under one roof at our facility in Pendik / Istanbul, producing more than 80 models for hotels, cafes, restaurants, architects and contract firms.

Our Production Process
01Design
Model selection or custom design development based on project needs.
The first step of a project is choosing the model and the material. Location, intensity of use and budget are weighed together: indoors and in heavy traffic a metal frame is both more durable and more economical, while naturally rustproof aluminium stands out for damp areas such as seafronts, terraces and poolsides. Using both materials within the same project is also possible.
Once the model is chosen, upholstery and details are defined: fabric upholstery, rope weave or rattan-look weaving are offered for the seat and back, and cushions can be fixed or removable. For architects and contract firms, different colour and upholstery combinations can be prepared within a single order. If a form outside our catalogue is required, we develop a custom design for the project.
We do not publish a price list: as a manufacturer, pricing depends on quantity, colour and upholstery. Send us the product code, quantity and colour preference and we will reply the same day with pricing and lead time.
Metal or aluminium? Detailed comparison →02Production
Series production on bending, welding and assembly lines.
In a commercial venue a chair works far harder than at home: it is sat on dozens of times a day, pulled up to the table, dragged, stacked at closing time and exposed to sun and moisture outdoors. That is why we build to a contract (heavy commercial) standard rather than a domestic furniture standard.
Metal and aluminium profiles are cut at our own facility, shaped on bending benches and joined on welding lines. Weld points are the load-bearing areas of the frame, so joints are inspected separately.
03Cataphoresis Coating
KTL dip coating against rust and corrosion on metal products — lasting protection.
Our metal products pass through a cataphoresis coating bath before painting. This method, used for chassis protection in the automotive industry, draws the coating to every point of the metal at an even thickness — including pipe interiors and weld roots — by electric current.
Why this step cannot be skipped: on a frame that is only powder-coated, a small scratch in the paint becomes the starting point of rust. The cataphoresis layer forms an invisible barrier beneath the paint and removes that risk. On aluminium frames the step is unnecessary, since the material does not rust by nature.
Do metal chairs rust? Cataphoresis coating explained →04Painting
Electrostatic powder paint over the cataphoresis layer, in all RAL colours.
Electrostatic RAL powder paint is applied over the cataphoresis layer and cured in an oven. Because the powder clings to the surface with an electrostatic charge it leaves no runs or drip marks, and after curing it forms a hard, uniform shell.
The result is a surface that resists scratches and impact and holds its colour outdoors for years. Every model can be produced in any RAL colour, so you can order the same model in different colours and build a combination that matches your venue's concept exactly.
05Quality Control
Part-based inspection with load, balance and surface tests.
Quality control is carried out part by part: every product goes through load, balance and surface tests. The load test verifies the frame's capacity under contract use, and the balance test confirms that all four legs sit on the same plane — a single wobbling chair causes problems in a commercial venue.
Surface inspection covers paint thickness and the appearance of weld points; any faulty part is set aside before it reaches shipping.
06Shipping
Protective packaging, domestic and international logistics.
Production takes place in Pendik, Istanbul; we ship across Turkey and export to more than 30 countries. Products are packed to protect against scratches and impact in transit, and export shipments are packed to export standard and container-loaded.
For high-volume hotel and restaurant-chain projects we provide scheduled lead times and staged shipping, so products can be delivered in batches according to the venue's opening calendar. To date, over 1,500 projects have been completed and more than 250,000 chairs produced.
