MLS-2022 — an aluminium armchair with a rope-woven barrel back. The weave wraps right around the frame at arm height; the seat takes a removable cushion and a cross brace runs between the legs. The frame is finished in electrostatic RAL powder coating.
About This Product
Unlike a flat back, the barrel form wraps the shoulders from both sides; because the arm is not added as a separate piece, resting an elbow and leaning back happen on one continuous surface. That lets the chair work at a dining table and in a lounge arrangement alike. The cross brace between the legs girds the frame and reduces sideways sway — a detail that tells on open flooring and under heavy use. Frame, weave and cushion colours are each specified separately.
