MLS-3007 — an indoor bar stool with arms on a brass-toned frame. The back is a horizontal pad standing clear of the seat; back and seat are upholstered in velvet.
About This Product
Velvet does visual work here: because it reflects light differently along the pile, the same fabric darkens and lightens according to the angle the stool is seen from. A row of stools along the bar therefore does not read as one flat block of colour. The pairing of brass frame and dark velvet is set up for rooms with low evening lighting — the metal catches light while the fabric absorbs it. The back pad standing clear leaves the slim line of the frame visible from behind.
