About This Product
The rope binding falls exactly on the joint — the point that is both structurally most critical and most often held by hand. Pulling the chair out, fingers meet the binding rather than metal or a hard timber corner. Three textures work together: the grain of the wood, the flat face of the leather and the rhythm of the rope. Reducing the back to a single rail leaves the rear open, so the chair does not divide the room when pushed under a table.
