About This Product
A back that passes shoulder height points the chair towards places where people sit a long time: backs ending at the waist are enough for a quick meal, but a two-hour dinner asks for shoulder support. The inward curve keeps that height from pushing the sitter forward. A tall back does take more room, though — pushed in, it stands above the table, so this is a chair for generously spaced rooms rather than tight ones.
