About This Product
Lifting the tips of the rail is not only a matter of line: leaning back, the shoulders rest on those two tips, so support comes from two points rather than one and the back does not slide sideways. Keeping the rail slim leaves the chair almost transparent from behind; pushed in, only a fine horizontal line shows across the room. The legs tapering downward continue the same idea of lightness — the chair appears to touch the floor without passing weight into it.
