About This Product
The opening in the back markedly reduces the visual volume the chair occupies: set against a solid-backed model of the same height, it seems to take far less of the room. In small rooms and window seating that difference is felt, and the view or wall decoration behind stays open. Upholstering only the seat cuts the maintenance to a single surface — there is no fabric on the back to stain, strip or renew.
