About This Product
The chair uses three materials in a deliberate order: metal to carry, fabric to sit on, timber where the hand goes. The front of the arm is the most gripped point on any chair — standing up, sitting down and pulling the chair in, the hand reaches there; making that point timber rather than metal softens the contact and removes the spot where coating would wear. The brass collars above the legs break up the black body and make the chair read taller than it is.
